It now turns out that the money paid for the meat was for the processing of the meat.

Isn't it ironic that the Montana DOL has zero tolerance for bisons inside their state, yet, the people in that State are now enjoying the bison meat which not so long ago was an animal that they despised so much. This organization has no credibility or integrity, just a bunch of bullies that pick on the innocent and weak (bisons).

Another shining example of the hypocricy that lives and breathes in such matters.

Cheif Avorl Looking Horse peformed a releasing the spriits ceremony to send the spirits of these slaughtered buffalo home. He states "Let it be known that Yellowstone territory; the habitat of the last wild Buffalo Nation - is sacred ground, it has been a SACRED SITE for the First Nation’s people, and for all humanity who hold deep respect for all Creation.....These Buffalo that lost their lives in Yellowstone did not die by Natural Law, nor were their spirits honored with ceremony. This is why we must go there to perform a ceremony of honor for those that lost their lives by the misunderstanding of human-kind"

We require so much documented proof from paternity to citizenship. It is amazing the Yellowstone Park Service and the local ranchers continue to use the disease excuse without ANY viable Proof that this type of transmission occurs and continue to kill in the name of the almighty $$.

I've always suspected there's more to the bison killing than control of the spread of brucellosis from bison to cattle. It's always been about money and range grass. The IBMP think we are stupid and can't see through their motives and greed.
